Meta Ads
Facebook and Instagram Ads for Grand Valley Businesses
Not every customer is searching for you yet. Meta ads, which run across Facebook and Instagram, put your business in front of the right local people while they scroll, building awareness and generating leads before they ever type a search. Third Loft creates and manages these campaigns for businesses across the Grand Valley, handling the creative, the targeting, and the retargeting that brings interested people back.
We work with businesses across the Grand Valley, so we know the community you are trying to reach. That local understanding shapes ads that feel like they belong in the feed rather than like a template dropped in from somewhere else.
Where it fits
Where Meta ads fit for a local business
Google Ads catches people at the moment they are searching. Meta ads work earlier, reaching customers who are not looking yet but would be interested if they knew about you. That makes Facebook and Instagram strong for building awareness, promoting an offer, and staying top of mind in a community your size.
Most local businesses that try Meta on their own hit the same wall. They boost a post now and then, the reach is small, and nothing measurable comes of it. Boosting is not the same as a real campaign with proper targeting, creative built for the goal, and tracking to show what it produced.
How we work
How we run your Facebook and Instagram ads
We build campaigns around a clear goal, whether that is awareness, leads, or traffic to an offer, and we manage them with the same care we would give our own budget.
Creative that fits the feed
People scroll past anything that looks like an ad and stop for anything that looks worth their attention. We build creative, images, video, and copy, that speaks to your local audience and matches the goal of the campaign. Good creative is the single biggest lever on Meta, so we treat it as the core of the work, not an afterthought.
Targeting the right local audience
We aim your ads at the Grand Valley communities you serve, Grand Junction, Fruita, Palisade, Clifton, the Redlands, Orchard Mesa, and Montrose, and refine by the interests and behaviors that fit your customer. The point is to reach people likely to care, not to buy the widest possible reach. Tight targeting keeps your budget working.
Retargeting people who already know you
Most people do not act the first time they see a business. Retargeting shows ads to people who already visited your website or engaged with your posts, bringing them back when they are closer to deciding. It is often the most efficient part of a Meta campaign because you are talking to a warm audience. Ad spend on Meta is paid to the platform and is separate from our management fee.
Results
Proof from local work
We prefer to show outcomes rather than make claims. For the businesses we run Meta campaigns for, we track results that matter, things like leads generated and cost per lead.
Our connection to the valley is real, and it keeps us close to the audience your ads need to reach.
Process
What working with us looks like
- Free audit. We look at your current social presence and any past ad activity, then tell you whether Meta ads fit your goals.
- Strategy and creative. We set the campaign goal, build the audiences, and produce creative made for the feed.
- Launch and tracking. Campaigns go live with tracking in place so leads and actions are counted.
- Optimize and report. We watch performance, shift budget to what works, and report on the results that matter.
Straight talk
Being realistic about what Meta ads do
Meta ads are strong for awareness and lead generation, but they are not a magic switch. Someone seeing your ad on Instagram is usually not as ready to buy as someone actively searching on Google, so results often build over time rather than arriving overnight. We will tell you honestly whether your goal is a fit for Meta or better served by search ads.
Where Meta shines is when it works alongside your other marketing. Ads send people to your website, so a page that converts is what turns interest into leads. See our conversion rate optimization and website design pages. Pairing Meta for awareness with Google Ads for intent, covered on our Google Ads management page, tends to beat either one alone.
Before we start
What Meta will not let you advertise
Meta sets its own advertising rules, and they are stricter than most owners expect. We check your category before we quote, so you are not paying us to run something that will be rejected.
Not allowed at all
- Tobacco, vaping, and related products
- Recreational and illegal drugs
- Unsafe supplements
- Weapons, ammunition, and explosives
- Adult content and services
- Multilevel marketing and payday loans
Allowed only with written permission
- Alcohol
- Gambling and real money games
- Dating services
- Online pharmacies and prescription products
- Financial products and services
- Cryptocurrency products and services
Permission is applied for, not assumed, and Meta can decline it.
Special ad categories, the one that catches local businesses out
If your ad touches credit, jobs, property, or a social or political issue, Meta strips most of the targeting out of it. That rule exists to prevent discrimination, and it applies whether or not you intended anything of the kind.
- No age targeting, the audience has to be 18 to 65 plus
- No gender targeting, all genders must be included
- No ZIP code targeting, and a fifteen mile minimum radius on location
- No lookalike audiences built from Meta’s own data
- No income, education, parental status, or relationship status targeting
A mortgage broker, a recruiter, a property manager, or a letting agent in Grand Junction is affected by every line of this. The campaigns can still work, they just have to be built a different way, and we will say so before you commit.
None of this stops us helping you. It changes what we recommend. Where Meta is closed or heavily restricted, search ads, your Google Business Profile, or local search work is usually still open, and we would rather point you there than take your money for a campaign we already know will struggle.
Local
Why choose a local agency
A national agency runs your Meta account using the same approach everywhere, with no feel for your market. We understand the Grand Valley, and you get a real person who knows your account and your community. Our reputation depends on results for Grand Valley businesses.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Meta ads and boosting a post?
Boosting a post is a quick way to spend money for a little extra reach, but it gives you limited control over targeting, creative, and measurement. A real Meta campaign is built around a goal, uses proper audience targeting and retargeting, and tracks the leads or actions it produces. The difference shows up in what you can actually measure and improve.
Is my ad spend included in your fee?
Yes. On the single-platform plan the monthly figure covers both what goes to Meta and the work of creating and managing the campaigns. We still separate the two in reporting so you can see where the money went. A larger budget is quoted as a custom plan.
Meta ads management is $500 a month for a single platform, and that covers both the Meta spend and managing the campaigns. Running Meta alongside Google, or a larger budget, is quoted after a free audit. See our pricing page.
Should I use Facebook and Instagram, or just one?
Both run through the same Meta system, and which placements work best depends on your audience and creative. Rather than guess, we usually test across placements and let the results show where your budget performs. For many local businesses, running across both reaches more of the right people for the same effort.
How soon will Meta ads produce results?
Awareness campaigns build over time as more of your local audience sees your business, while lead campaigns can start producing leads within the first weeks. Because Meta reaches people earlier in their decision, results often compound rather than arriving all at once. We do not promise specific numbers, since that depends on your offer and market.
Do I need to provide the photos and videos?
It helps if you have real photos of your business, your team, or your work, because authentic local content tends to perform well. That said, we handle building the creative into ads and can work with what you have or advise on what to capture. We will be clear about what we need from you before we start.
Are Meta ads better than Google Ads for my business?
Neither is simply better, because they do different jobs. Google Ads reaches people who are already searching for what you sell, while Meta ads build awareness and reach people before they search. Many local businesses get the best return from using both, and during the free audit we can tell you where to start.
